When the British singer isn't moonlighting as Sam Smith, she's racking up awards, being a superstar mom, selling out tours, and even adding more famous faces to her fan club. It should come as no surprise then that she's also the kind of friend who would go the extra mile to make your wedding day special.
The singer took to Instagram to confirm reports that she officiated the wedding of her longtime friend and British comedian, Alan Carr. The Chatty Man star wed partner Paul Drayton in a beautiful backyard ceremony at Adele's LA home, which he opened up about during an appearance on This Morning. "[Adele] said, 'I want to do your special day. Let me do everything.' She got ordained and she married us," he explained. "She is the kindest, most sweetest, loveliest person ever. She flew us to Vegas to see Celine Dion sing. She sang my first dance. It was the best day of my life."
Sounds like a dream, no? In the snap she shared from the January ceremony Adele sports a chic, "lob" haircut, and a regal, white cape she donned for her duties as the celebrant. Adele mentioned her stunning look in the caption saying, "You know me any excuse to dress up . . .", and ended it with a sweet tribute to her friend's marriage that simply read #LoveisLove.
