Kim Kardashian Opens Up About Son Saint's Pneumonia Scare: "He's So Resilient"

New Year's Eve didn't go according to plan for Kim Kardashian West this year. Instead of ringing in 2018 with one of her family's trademark bashes, the dedicated mom found herself in the hospital after her 2-year-old son, Saint, was rushed to the emergency room and later diagnosed with pneumonia. The 37-year-old reality star opened up about the terrifying ordeal and what Saint went through on Instagram.

"My precious baby boy is so strong! After spending three nights in the hospital & seeing my baby get multiple IV's and hooked up to oxygen machines, our end of year was challenging," she captioned a sweet photo of her and her son. "Pneumonia is so scary. I just want to thank every nurse & doctor out there who works so hard around the clock. We are so grateful for you all! He's home and all better. He's so resilient. I'm sure he will still say the ambulance ride was cool! My strong Saint 👼🏽."

Kim and husband Kanye West welcomed Saint back in December 2015. We've gotten a few adorable glimpses of the little guy here and there over the last few years, and most recently he and big sister North made two very cute additions to the Kardashian family's annual holiday card. Thankfully, it sounds like he's made a full recovery!
