This is already shaping up to be a big year for Meghan Markle! Not only did she tie the knot with Prince Harry and officially become the Duchess of Sussex, but she'll soon be stepping out for her first solo royal engagement! According to People, Meghan will carry out her first public outing without Harry in Chester, which is about 165 miles from London, with Queen Elizabeth II on June 14. The two ladies are set to unveil the Mersey Gateway Bridge in Widnes, Cheshire and open the Storyhouse Theatre.

Meghan is currently enjoying her honeymoon with Harry in an undisclosed location, but is reportedly "keen to start working as soon as they return." According to royal contributor Omid Scobie, Meghan's first solo engagements will "see her visiting a number of small charities and grassroots organizations across the UK as she continues to decide what her first patronage will be." We can't wait for Meghan to hit the ground running!
