Uneventful is not a word you could use to describe Jimmy Kimmel's first stint as the host of the Academy Awards [1] in 2017. Following the truly unforgettable best picture envelope mix-up [2], the late night host was certain he'd never return to host the show again. In fact, at the time, Kimmel even said [3], "I knew I would screw this show up, I really did," adding, "I promise I'll never come back!"

Of course, Kimmel was asked to host the big show for the second consecutive year. The same day nominations were announced [4], ABC released a promo in which Kimmel seeks therapy for his recurring Oscars nightmares. At the end, it's revealed that his "therapist" is none other than Warren Beatty, who was a pivotal player in the whole mix-up.
