Who Is Hosting the 2018 Oscars?
Oscar Host Jimmy Kimmel Hilariously Revisits Last Year's Flub Heard 'Round the World
Uneventful is not a word you could use to describe Jimmy Kimmel's first stint as the host of the Academy Awards in 2017. Following the truly unforgettable best picture envelope mix-up, the late night host was certain he'd never return to host the show again. In fact, at the time, Kimmel even said, "I knew I would screw this show up, I really did," adding, "I promise I'll never come back!"
Of course, Kimmel was asked to host the big show for the second consecutive year. The same day nominations were announced, ABC released a promo in which Kimmel seeks therapy for his recurring Oscars nightmares. At the end, it's revealed that his "therapist" is none other than Warren Beatty, who was a pivotal player in the whole mix-up. Watch the funny commercial above, and tune in to this year's Oscars on March 4.
