Butterfly

I will never forget the day Harry revealed his giant butterfly tattoo. "Why on Earth would you stamp a giant bug on your stomach?!" I wondered to myself. But you know what? This thing has grown on me, and I wouldn't have his stomach any other way. Perhaps he was being punny with butterflies in his stomach or maybe he just loves them, but nevertheless, this butterfly [4] is inked on him for good.

Swallows

Harry has two swallows tattooed on his chest that he got back in 2012. He told Us Weekly at the time that they symbolize traveling because the band travels so much [5].

Rose and Ship

Harry's left arm is practically covered in tattoos. Two of his larger pieces are a rose on his elbow and a traditional ship on his bicep. He also has a mermaid below the rose and the names "Jackson" and "Arlo" (for two of his godchildren) that he got after this photo was taken.

Birdcage

Harry tattooed a bird cage on his ribcage years ago. Maybe as a pun? Maybe in case his swallows want to go sit down? We don't really know. He also has a set of theater masks nearby.

Silver Spoon, Handshake, Skull

On the back of his left arm, Harry has a skeleton wearing a tux and top hat, two hands shaking, and the words "Silver Spoon." There's also a little guitar and Pink Floyd's logo in this region.

Late Late

One of Harry's very best tattoos is one that says Late Late that he got during a Tattoo Roulette segment [6] on The Late Late Show With James Corden. After "losing" the game, Harry got the show's logo tattooed on his arm, right in the studio. The tiny tattoo fits in nicely with the rest of the mess of ink on his arm.

Anatomical Heart, You Booze You Lose, Bible

On the inside of his left arm, Harry has a detailed anatomical heart, a bottle with the phrase "You Booze, You Lose," and this picture of a Bible that's covering the phrase "Things I Can't" that he got years ago. Harry's covered a few of his early tattoos since getting them. Whether it's because he doesn't identify with their meanings anymore or he just doesn't like them is unclear. He's got some other little tattoos on this arm as well, including a Green Bay Packers logo, a clothes hanger, and the name Pingu, for a cartoon penguin. Ed Sheeran actually gave him the Pingu tattoo and got his own tattoo of the penguin, so they match.

Cross and Anchor

Harry has a small cross tattooed on his left hand, which pairs nicely with the cross necklaces he's often sporting. On his left wrist, he also has a nautical anchor that's covering up an old tattoo that said "I Can't Change," in addition to a tiny padlock that Ed Sheeran tattooed on him [7]. He's also got some other little doodles on that wrist, like an Aquarius sign and a shamrock.

Tiger

Harry's got a pretty big tattoo on his left thigh that had fans stumped for a bit of time. Thankfully, BBC Radio 1 host Nick Grimshaw asked Harry about it in 2015, and Harry revealed that the giant tattoo was of a tiger [8]. Because it's so high up on his thigh, it's not one we see often, but thanks to his short shorts during a dodgeball game on The Late Late Show With James Corden, we got a nice view of it.

Eagle

Harry tattooed an eagle on his right arm, on top of a tattoo he used to have that said "Things I Can." I feel like there might be a lot to unpack with this symbology, but I can't say one way or another why he might have gone this route with his ink.

G and A

Harry has two small tattoos on the front of each shoulder for his mom and sister. He has a G on the right for his sister, Gemma, and an A on the left for his mom, Anne.

In this picture, you can also see the black heart he's got on his left arm, three nails, and part of the 17 Black on his pec, among others. He even has his sister's name written out in Hebrew on that arm.

Fern Leaves

Harry really went and had two giant fern leaves tattooed right on his pelvis. It's a decision he actually made, and I, for one, am not mad about it. They're not tattoos we see often, but when we do, it's a good day.

All the Rest of Them

Just enjoy this picture while I tell you about more of Harry's tattoos. He has the words "Never Gonna Dance Again" on his feet, as well as the word "Big" on one of his big toes. Yes, Harry Styles actually tattooed "Big" on his big toe. He even did the tat himself [9].

He also has some other doodles scattered around, including more crosses, a broken heart, the years his parents were born, an "R" presumably for his stepdad, Robin, and the word Brasil very low on his hip/very high up on his thigh [10].

There's also a giant fly on his left arm, a palm tree on his right, and other tidbits to be discovered [11]. He even has a very simple "Hi" tattoo.

I'd venture to say there are even some tattoos in places we don't know about at this point. This man just keeps adding ink to his skin at every turn, so who's to say what might be hidden somewhere. In my opinion, Harry is absolutely the type to have a cute lil tat on his butt.
