Anyone with multiple siblings has probably experienced their dad mixing their name up with one of their brothers or sisters, but it's not often you hear about someone mixing up their kids' mothers on Mother's Day. But with 12 kids shared with six different women, Nick Cannon had quite the task putting together his Mother's Day gifts this year for all the moms in his life, which led to a bit of a cringe mixup.

"I thought it would be really, really good to . . . you know, to show people how you really feel, write it down," Cannon shared of his Mother's Day gift plans on the May 15 episode of "The Daily Cannon" podcast. "I was doing handwritten messages from the heart," he added.

The problem came when it was time to deliver the cards to Mariah Carey, Brittany Bell, Abby De La Rosa, Alyssa Scott, Bre Tiesi, and LaNisha Cole. "As I'm writing a handwritten message, I get the cards mixed up." Apparently, this flub led to some hurt feelings. "So, when one baby mama reads the card about how I feel about the other baby mama," he explained, leaving his cohosts scandalized. "See, if I would have gotten some generic sh*t that everyone else got, that wouldn't have happened," the comedian joked.

Cannon will be the first to admit he's got a "big-ass family," so he'll probably pay closer attention to the names on his gifts to avoid this mistake in the future.
