One kind gesture can carry such significance. Meghan Markle and Prince Harry visited the One25 charity during an official visit to Bristol, England, on Friday. The outreach organization provides resources for local women struggling with issues including addiction, street sex work, and homelessness. While helping pack lunches, the Duchess of Sussex had the sweet idea to write uplifting messages on the bananas included in the lunch bags.

According to Daily Telegraph reporter Hannah Furness, Meghan said, "I have an idea. I saw this project this woman had started somewhere in the States on a school lunch program. On each of the bananas she wrote an affirmation, to make the kids feel really, like, empowered." She added, "I am in charge of the banana messaging!" The bananas ended up containing phrases like, "You are loved," "You are strong," and more. Check out Meghan's thoughtful gesture ahead.
