To say a lot has happened on Game of Thrones [1] thus far would be a comic understatement. Over seven seasons [2], viewers have witnessed the cast grow both on and off screen [3], and, ahead of the eighth and final season [4], Good Morning America recently illustrated how much has changed by asking the stars to face their season one characters [5] and offer some words of advice. While we're not sure how much advice was dished, there were plenty of gems.
Gwendoline Christie cracked up as she told Brienne of Tarth [7], "You don't need to drink all those protein shakes." Iain Glen, who portrays Jorah Mormont, hinted at his character's unrequited love for Daenerys Targaryen [8] when he said, "Don't try and kiss her." Perhaps our favorite bit of advice, however, came from Maisie Williams, who told Arya Stark, "You stay strong. Be a good little girl. Mommy loves you!" Enjoy the equal parts sentimental and hilarious exercise above.
