J.R.R. Tolkien introduced a number of unforgettable characters in the Lord of the Rings and the Hobbit series, but what do they all do after their quests are completed? According to Saturday Night Live [1], they go to work selling paper, à la The Office. Host Martin Freeman parodied the role that kicked off our crush on him [2], Tim from the original British version of The Office. Gollum is the Gareth/Dwight of the crew, and Gandalf is the David Brent/Michael Scott, aka "Lord of the Reems," full of very inappropriate puns. (Samples: "Thou shalt not pass . . . gas" and "Dildo Baggins.") It's brilliant, and you can watch it below.
