Jessica Chastain accepted the very first MVP Award at the Critics' Choice Awards [1], and her speech went in a very different direction than we anticipated. The 2015 Oscar nominations were released this week [2], and all the main acting nominees are white. It's not surprising that someone addressed the issue at the Critics' Choice Awards, but it's a little interesting that it turned out to be Chastain. Take a look at the speech below, in which she urged everyone in the room to "please speak up."
