Jessica Chastain accepted the very first MVP Award at the Critics' Choice Awards, and her speech went in a very different direction than we anticipated. After thanking the usual suspects for helping her with the four movies that she starred in this year, she seized the opportunity to address a hot topic in Hollywood this week: diversity. The 2015 Oscar nominations were released this week, and all the main acting nominees are white. It's not surprising that someone addressed the issue at the Critics' Choice Awards, but it's a little interesting that it turned out to be Chastain. Take a look at the speech below, in which she urged everyone in the room to "please speak up."
