Sad Girl Summer Is Upon Us as Lana Del Rey Releases 2 New Melancholic Music Videos

Lana Del Rey is back just in time to watch the sun go down on Summer. It's been two years since the melancholic singer released her last album, Lust for Life, and she's now shared a double music video for "F*ck It I Love You" and "The Greatest" off her upcoming album, Norman F*cking Rockwell, out Aug. 30.

In true Lana fashion, both thematically connected videos feature depictions of Americana and stunning shots of her looking off longingly in the distance. Whereas "F*ck It I Love You" is a reluctant ode to California veiled as a love song, "The Greatest" is a politically charged song featuring lines like: "LA is in flames, it's getting hot / Kanye West is blond and gone / 'Life on Mars' ain't just a song." Dig into some summertime sadness and check out the videos above.
