6 Things We Know About the Prison Break Reboot

Apr 4 2017 - 2:30pm

We have hours to go until Fox's Prison Break [1] reboot hits the small screen, and we already have a lot of information about it. Trailers have been coming out for months, and even if you didn't watch the original series, it might persuade you to catch up on Netflix before the new series premieres. Take a look at the details we have so far, and make sure you have the scoop on all the new midseason shows [2]!

The Brothers Are Back

Original stars Wentworth Miller [4] and Dominic Purcell are back as Michael Scofield and Lincoln Burrows.

The Rest of the Cast

After appearing on The Walking Dead [5] since Prison Break's cancellation, Sarah Wayne Callies is returning to her old stomping grounds. She'll reprise her role of Dr. Sara Tancredi. Paul Adelstein is returning [6] for at least one episode as Paul Kellerman, and Robert Knepper, Amaury Nolasco, and Rockmond Dunbar will be back [7] as T-Bag, Sucre, and C-Note. Meanwhile, newcomer Christian Michael Cooper is playing Sara and Michael's son, and Mark Feuerstein is Sara's new husband, Jacob.

In addition, the original creator and producers, Paul T. Scheuring, Neal Moritz, Marty Adelstein, and Dawn Olmstead are returning.

The Plot

The tables have turned for the brothers on the new event series. This time, Michael (who is alive, shocker) is the one in prison, while Lincoln vows to break him out. The new season, which will be nine episodes, is set in Yemen.
