Sometimes it can be hard to piece together that perfect Halloween [1] costume, but it's certainly more fun when you have someone else to do it with. This year has gifted us with some incredible pop culture costumes [2], but some of the best inspiration comes from our favorite TV characters. Shows like This Is Us [3] and Riverdale [4] have easy costumes you can pull from your closet, while series like Game of Thrones [5] have more intricate looks. Daenerys Targayen and Jon Snow From Game of Thrones

Daenerys Targayen: A regal, tailored black long-sleeved dress with a silver dragon chain slung on your shoulder. A platinum blond braided wig.
For Jon Snow: A huge fur coat over a black leather outfit and boots. Grow a little stubble and pull your hair back. And brood. Always brood.

Celeste and Perry as Audrey and Elvis From Big Little Lies

For Celeste: Audrey Hepburn with a red updo.
For Perry: Go for Elvis with an all-black ensemble, big glasses, and black pompadour.

Dolores and William From Westworld

For Dolores: A long-sleeved blue Western dress with a brown leather belt.
For William: Brown pants and shirt with a leather vest on top. Top it off with a big cowboy hat.

Rhaegar and Lyanna From Game of Thrones

For Lyanna: A light colored gown with your hair pulled up halfway.
For Rhaegar: A neutral-colored tunic with a sword hanging from your waist. Most important is the shoulder-length platinum blond wig.

Nancy and Steve From Stranger Things

For Nancy: Wear a cutesy striped sweater or button-down (buttoned all the way up, naturally) and a high-waisted skirt or jeans. If you go for a skirt, make sure you wear it with white tights and flats. Keep in mind Nancy's übercool accessories, which include her homework, notebooks, and a bat.
For Steve: Tuck a striped, long-sleeved polo into some belted khakis and rock a pair of brown loafers. Feel free to pop the collar.

Barry and Iris From The Flash

For Barry: Maroon pants with a matching hoodie and a gold lightening bolt on your chest.
For Iris: A gray trench coat, skinny jeans, and black boots.

Hook and Emma From Once Upon a Time

For Hook: Black jeans and black leather jacket. Don't forget your hook and guyliner.
For Emma: A sweater, jeans, black boots, and your iconic red leather jacket.

Archie and Veronica From Riverdale

For Archie: A casual long-sleeved shirt, jeans, Converse, and a red wig.
For Veronica: A sophisticated black dress, high heels, and pearls.

Betty and Jughead From Riverdale

For Jughead: A flannel shirt, jeans, Converse, a jean jacket, and a gray beanie (preferably in the shape of crown).
For Betty: A tight pastel-colored sweater, jeans, and suede half boots. Wear your hair in a high ponytail.

Rick and Michonne From The Walking Dead

For Michonne: A dirty tank top to show off your extremely toned arms, a leather vest if you have one, a pair of olive-colored skinny jeans, and a bandana to put over your forehead to keep all the sweat you'll work up from slaying walkers out of your eyes. Grab a fake katana to complete the look.
For Rick: If you're going for an early version of Rick, a dirty, light brown cop uniform will do. In more current seasons, he's been strutting around in jeans, a plain white t-shirt, and a sheepskin jacket. Splatter it all in blood, make sure your face is covered in scruff, and you're good to go.

Claire and Jamie From Outlander

For Claire: A big tartan skirt with a blouse over it and a gigantic woolly scarf.
For Jamie: A tartan over a white shirt with a brown vest over it. Rock a red wig.

Missandei and Greyworm From Game of Thrones

For Missandei: Wear a dark blue gown and a thin headband with your hair curly.
For Greyworm: Wear silver armor (or be injured Greyworm with the bandage).

Jack and Rebecca From This Is Us

For Jack: A tan suit with a dark bow tie.
For Rebecca: A lace dress with long sleeves and a white floral crown with long, loose waves.

Issa and Lawrence From Insecure

For Issa: A black graphic shirt, jeans, and a bandanna.
For Lawrence: A black tank top and jeans. If you want to go the extra mile, you can also paint on a goatee.

Damon and Elena From The Vampire Diaries

For Damon: Your outfit should be similar to Stefan's, but slightly darker. Swap a navy tee and blue jeans for black and you're ready to go. Don't forget a black leather jacket to pull it all together.
For Elena: A black leather jacket, red top, flared jeans, and black Converse shoes. Straighten your hair with a middle part.

Stefan and Caroline From The Vampire Diaries

For Stefan: It's all about the hero hair. Once you've perfected your 'do, pair your look with a simple navy v-neck, dark blue jeans, and black combat boots.
For Caroline: You're going to need a floral strapless dress with a matching cardigan. Don't forget your perfect golden locks.
