With each passing week our favorite shows are wrapping up, but we're also getting news about renewals and cancellations for next season. While shows like FX's Mayans M.C. [1] will be back for another round, others like Cloak and Dagger, Lucifer, and Whiskey Cavalier have gotten the ax. Luckily, The CW announced a TON of renewals [2] for their hit series, including Riverdale [3] and The Flash, and Hulu has also renewed a bunch of their freshman comedies. What's Been Renewed?
TV Land
- Younger: The series, which was created by Darren Star, has been renewed for a seventh season [5].
Hulu
- Into the Dark: The holiday and tradition-centered Blumhouse horror series will return for a second season of thrills and chills.
- The Handmaid's Tale [6]: The fight against oppression will continue in the drama's fourth season [7].
- Light as a Feather: Unlike many of the characters in this AwesomenessTV thriller starring Liana Liberato, the show will live to see a second season.
- PEN15 [8]: Ready to go back to seventh grade? The freshman comedy has been renewed for season two.
- Ramy: Actor and comedian Ramy Youssef's hilarious series [9] about a Muslim-American family navigating life in their politically divided New Jersey neighborhood is coming back for season two.
- Shrill: Aidy Bryant's brilliant comedy will see a second season of awkward run-ins, body acceptance, and hopefully a better romance for Annie Easton.
Disney+
- High School Musical [10]: The Musical: The Series Season two of this spinoff was confirmed [11] before season one even premiered.
USA Network
- Suits: The series has been renewed for a ninth and final season [12], which will air sometime in 2019.
Syfy
- The Magicians: The series, which is based on Lev Grossman's book of the same name, has been renewed for a fifth season [13].
Fox
- So You Think You Can Dance: The dancing competition has been renewed for season 16 [14].
- The Masked Singer [15]: The hit new show has been granted a second season [16].
Netflix
- Big Mouth: The cartoon sitcom has been renewed for seasons four, five, and six [17] as part of a new multiyear deal.
- The Society: Netflix's dystopian teen drama will indeed return for season two.
- Queer Eye [18]: Don't worry — the Fab Five are coming back for a fifth season in a brand-new town!
- Dead to Me: You haven't seen the last of Jen and Judy, because the dark comedy has been renewed for a second season.
- Russian Doll: The freshman series starring Natasha Lyonne will be returning with eight new episodes in season two.
- After Life: The Ricky Gervais dramedy will be back for a second season in 2020.
- I Think You Should Leave: Tim Robinson and Zach Kani's Lonely Island-produced sketch-comedy show will return for a second season, set to premiere in 2020.
- Dogs: The puppy-loving docuseries will return for a second season.
- Grace and Frankie: The show starring Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin has been renewed for season six [19].
- The Kominsky Method: The comedy, which stars Michael Douglas and Alan Arkin, will return for season two [20].

- Shameless: Following Emmy Rossum's announcement that she is leaving the show [38] after the current ninth season, the show has been renewed for season 10 [39].
- On Becoming a God in Central Florida: The Kirsten Dunst-led comedy, which was originally developed at YouTube, will be back for its sophomore season [40].

- Why Women Kill: The CBS All-Access series is coming back for season two!
- God Friended Me: The series has been renewed for a second season [41].
- Bull: Despite controversy surrounding lead Michael Weatherly after he was accused of sexual harassment by former co-star Eliza Dushku [42], the network has decided to renew the procedural for a fourth season [43].
- Love Island: The reality series will return for another Summer of love [44] with season 2!
The CW
- Riverdale [45]: The series, which is based on the Archie Comics, will return for a fourth season.
- Arrow: Oliver Queen will be back for the show's eighth season.
- The Flash: You'll be seeing more of Team Flash when the show returns for season six.

- Charmed: The reboot of the popular '90s show will return for season two.

Hallmark
- When Calls the Heart: The series has been renewed for a seventh season [76], which is set to air sometime in 2020. The show will continue without Lori Loughlin after the network cut ties with the actress [77] following her involvement in a college admissions cheating scam.
Spectrum Originals
- LA's Finest: Despite some lackluster reviews, the Bad Boys spinoff starring Gabrielle Union [78] and Jessica Alba [79] has been renewed [80] for a sophomore season.

What's Been Canceled?
HBO
- Ballers: The comedy series starring Dwayne Johnson will end with its forthcoming fifth season [82], airing Aug. 25.
Hulu
- The First: The series starring Sean Penn [83] will not return for a second season [84].
- Runaways: The show's upcoming third season will be its last [85].
