With each passing day we inch closer and closer to the premiere of The Handmaid's Tale's second season [1]. In November Hulu set premiere dates for its 2018 lineup [2], announcing an April 2018 release for the Emmy Award darling [3], and a few months later they confirmed the exact date and time [4] we should all be prepared to take in the next step in June's dangerous journey: April 25.

Our return to Gilead will begin that Wednesday night when Hulu drops the first two episodes, with subsequent episodes in the 13-episode season airing every Wednesday. Wee have a few ideas about what will happen [5] in season two, but seeing as it's burned through a ton of the source material and ended on a truly devastating cliffhanger [6], we can likely expect even more departures from the book [7] as we move forward.
