That's why she chose the tune for her One World: Together at Home performance with brother Finneas O'Connell on April 18. With O'Connell at the keyboard, the duo put their own spin on the 1966 track — a reminder that there are brighter days ahead.

Many other stars put together their own at-home performances for the star-studded broadcast event honoring healthcare workers on the front lines against COVID-19. Jennifer Lopez belted out a Barbra Streisand classic, Taylor Swift tackled a deeply personal track, and Lizzo delivered a soulful cover of "A Change Is Gonna Come."
