Billie Eilish Makes a Powerful Statement About Drug Use in Smoky Video For "Xanny"

Billie Eilish is making a strong statement against drug use in her new music video for "Xanny." The four-minute clip, which dropped on Dec. 5, expands on the track from her debut album, When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?, and details the singer's frustrations with friends abusing alcohol and narcotics. The visual shows Eilish — who's rocking a noticeably darker hairdo — perched on a bench as cigarette-wielding hands appear in and out of frame, leaving burnt bud marks all over her face. The songstress continues to hazily croon, looking stifled and despondent as smoke fills the air. Watch the full video above, then read all about the song's backstory.
