Jennifer Lopez Can't Resist Pete Davidson in This SNL Skit, and Alex Rodriguez Isn't Happy

Jennifer Lopez got a lot of support from fiancé Alex Rodriguez during her third Saturday Night Live hosting gig — especially when she (fake) broke his heart in front of Pete Davidson. During a prerecorded "Chad & JLo" skit on the Dec. 7 episode, the 50-year-old pop star falls for a roadie who doesn't know, or care, who she is.

Like so many women in SNL's Chad sketches, Lopez is inexplicably drawn to Davidson's character and his blunt, one-syllable answers. In fact, she almost ditches her engagement completely before Rodriguez makes a special guest appearance. He's totally distraught seeing Lopez and Chad close to kissing, but thankfully this is all for show. Fans can rest happy knowing Rodriguez and Lopez are still going strong, and Davidson is busy romancing Kaia Gerber. Watch the funny sketch above to see all the awkwardness go down.
