Netflix's You is coming back for season three, and we are more than ready for new episodes. Come on — we couldn't expect Joe Goldberg to settle for a fairy-tale ending, right? So, when exactly should we expect him to return? Well, pretty darn soon, actually.

On Aug. 30, Netflix revealed that You's third installment will be hitting the streaming platform in the midst of spooky season on — get ready to mark your calendars! — Oct. 15, 2021. The news was announced with a gripping video narrated by Penn Badgley's eerie voice, showing the main star making a cake for Joe's future child. He decorates the dessert with blood-colored icing, of course, and reveals that Joe's son will be named Henry.

The tease comes a few months after author Caroline Kepnes released her third You book, titled You Love Me, which has Joe moving to a brand-new city and falling in love with a brand-new girl. It's unclear just how closely the new season will follow the book, but one thing is for sure: it will have a star-studded cast. In addition to Badgley and Victoria Pedretti reprising their roles as Joe and Love, the new season will include Tati Gabrielle, Scott Speedman, and Scott Michael Foster.
