Well, sports moms everywhere [2], we're happy to inform you that Melissa McCarthy is one of us. During an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show [3] on Thursday, the Can You Ever Forgive Me? actress confessed to some questionable sideline behavior [4] at her 9-year-old daughter's basketball games, and it's pretty hysterical. "Something's happened," she said. "I scream and I yell like I've lost my mind. I've become exactly the person I always feared I would meet."
But it's not all frantic shouting at Melissa's daughter's games — there were tears, real tears, after Georgette's first basket. "We all went crazy. My dad burst out crying. I burst out crying. And there was a woman behind us and she was like, 'I don't even know why I'm crying,'" the mom of two shared. Melissa might be shocked over her sideline antics, but we have a feeling her 9- and 11-year-old daughters [5] are going to appreciate their parents' dedication to attending their games [6] when they're older.
