It doesn't have to be Halloween for you to throw your tot a monster-themed bash. Just ask Rachel Scott and Victoria Luhrs. When the creative ladies behind RV Parties were asked to plan an event for 3-year-old Henry, they knew they had to make monsters the focal point.
"The guest of honor had quite the personality, and a sweet little monster theme suited him perfectly," Rachel says. To keep the festivity from feeling like a Halloween bash, the two stuck to kid-friendly colors and creatures. And, of course, some special effects.
"Googly eyes helped make the monsters fun," Rachel says. Scroll through to see how these two planned a monster bash that was all fun and no fright.
Inspired by a Spoonflower fabric, Rachel and Victoria kept the colors to bright blue, green, yellow, and orange.
To keep kids busy, crayons and coloring pages were placed around the house — literally! Rachel and Victoria taped the tapestry to the walls.
