A Picture Book About Dr. Fauci Is Out Now, and It's Full of "Tips For Future Scientists"

A picture-book biography about Dr. Anthony Fauci, the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases and the chief medical advisor to the president, is now available! The 48-page book from Simon & Schuster, titled Dr. Fauci: How a Boy From Brooklyn Became America's Doctor, starts with the events of Dr. Fauci's childhood, when he would deliver prescriptions for his father's pharmacy, and goes through his years of medical school to the events of present day.

"This engaging narrative, which draws from interviews the author did with Dr. Fauci himself, follows Anthony from his Brooklyn beginnings through medical school and his challenging role working with seven US presidents to tackle some of the biggest public health challenges of the past fifty years, including the COVID-19 pandemic," reads the publisher's site.
