Lacoste has collaborated with Tyler, The Creator's Golf le Fleur for a limited-edition capsule collection that's a combination of streetwear and classic French tennis culture. This isn't actually the first time the Grammy-nominated musician has collaborated with a major brand. Previously, Tyler has teamed up with Converse for his highly sought after Golf le Fleur sneakers [1].
The 16-piece collection with Lacoste is unisex and includes socks, bucket hats, tees, shorts, polos, sweatshirts, a track set, cardigan, and a bomber jacket. Tyler was inspired by "Lacoste's historical archive . . . the collection contrasts classic sportswear silhouettes and features color blocking reminiscent of '80s courtside hues," according to the press release. The colorways are "litchi" (dusty pink), "geode" (beige), and "mascarpone"(off-white). My personal favorite has to be the classic polo which comes in a cool three-stripe pattern.
If you're wondering about pricing, the pieces start from $48 for socks all the up way up to $650 for a bomber jacket. You can buy the pieces on July 17 on Lacoste.com [2] and in select Lacoste boutiques and concept stores, including Kith, Union LA, Concepts, and Ssense.com.
