Wow! Lacoste's Unisex Collab With Tyler the Creator Will Transport You Back to the '80s
Lacoste has collaborated with Tyler, The Creator's Golf le Fleur for a limited-edition capsule collection that's a combination of streetwear and classic French tennis culture. This isn't actually the first time the Grammy-nominated musician has collaborated with a major brand. Previously, Tyler has teamed up with Converse for his highly sought after Golf le Fleur sneakers.
The 16-piece collection with Lacoste is unisex and includes socks, bucket hats, tees, shorts, polos, sweatshirts, a track set, cardigan, and a bomber jacket. Tyler was inspired by "Lacoste's historical archive . . . the collection contrasts classic sportswear silhouettes and features color blocking reminiscent of '80s courtside hues," according to the press release. The colorways are "litchi" (dusty pink), "geode" (beige), and "mascarpone"(off-white). My personal favorite has to be the classic polo which comes in a cool three-stripe pattern.
If you're wondering about pricing, the pieces start from $48 for socks all the up way up to $650 for a bomber jacket. You can buy the pieces on July 17 on Lacoste.com and in select Lacoste boutiques and concept stores, including Kith, Union LA, Concepts, and Ssense.com. Read on to see the retro campaign images, and see the pieces from the collection before they are available to shop ahead.
