Billie Eilish's style evolution reached new heights on Monday when the "Therefore I Am" singer made her red carpet entrance at the 2022 Met Gala. Channeling the Regencycore trend inspired by "Bridgerton," Eilish arrived in a pastel corset dress by Gucci with a waist so cinched it rivals Kim Kardashian's nude Mugler look in 2019. The upcycled gown featured an ivory skirt draped over a voluminous bustle with floral detailing that beautifully matched her sheer, lace sleeves and the lavender accent at the center of her mint bustier. She styled the look with a messy updo, a layered choker necklace, silver earrings, multiple rings, and platform peep-toe sandals.

Eilish attended her first Met Gala last year, arriving in a peachy, off-the-shoulder Oscar de la Renta ballgown that was beautifully suited to the event's "American Fashion" theme. Inspired by the glamorous Holiday Barbie, Eilish wore her hair in a blond bob and styled the floor-sweeping ensemble with Jimmy Choo heels and 30 pieces of jewelry from Cartier. Following the main event, the "Happier Than Ever" singer continued the Old Hollywood theme in a wine-colored Oscar de la Renta cape dress with a thigh-high slit that revealed a glimpse at her leg tattoo.

The artist's recent award show ensembles have been a carousel of monochrome, avant-garde looks that combine traditional elegance with her punk-inspired persona, marking a sharp transition from the colorful, oversized prints she often wears while performing on stage.
