Historically, fashion hasn't always been the most environmentally friendly industry, but starting today, Nordstrom is making a major move in support of sustainability. The megaretailer just announced its commitment to the G7 Fashion Pact, a coalition of 32 global luxury retailers convened by French President Emmanuel Macron. These companies will work together to combat the fashion industry's effect on climate change, the oceans, and biodiversity. As if that wasn't exciting enough, Nordstrom has launched Sustainable Style, an online shopping destination where you can shop products from brands that have also made a commitment to sustainability.
When you shop Nordstrom's Sustainable Style, you'll get access to products that are made from sustainably sourced materials, manufactured in factories that meet higher social or environmental standards, or that give back. How cool is that? There are over 2,000 products from 90 different brands worth shopping, but we've curated our 26 favorites. At the top of our list? Reformation dresses, Nike sneakers, Girlfriend Collective sets, and FEED bags. It's up to all of us to do our part for our planet, and we love that Nordstrom's made it easier than ever. Now, all we have to do is shop!
