Taylor Swift Made a Super Subtle Shoe Switch-up at the AMAs, and I Had to Do a Double Take

Taylor Swift didn't come to the American Music Awards on Sunday night to play around — she meant business, and she dressed for the part. The "Lover" singer showed up to Nov. 24's award show in a custom emerald-green Julien Macdonald gown, featuring a high-low skirt and fitted bodice.

As if that wasn't enough to grab your attention, she also took advantage of the dramatic skirt to show off her legs and a pair of sleek, nylon, thigh-high Casadei boots. This takes sock booties to a whole new level! We saw a similar pair of over-the-knee shoes on Gwen Stefani at the People's Choice Awards a couple of weeks ago, so safe to say, you should mark this trend and save it for later. It'll certainly come in handy as we enter the Winter months.

Taylor must be a major fan of the style, 'cause she switched her shoes to an almost identical leather Giueseppe Zanotti pair during the show. Keep reading to see her look from all angles.
