Priyanka Chopra continues to make her mark as a fashion darling, so it's no surprise she presented the world with another style moment. This time, she took to Instagram with her and her husband Nick Jonas's daughter Malti Marie in matching traditional Indian garments.
During the press tour for her new Amazon series "Citadel," the actress took a mother-daughter trip to the Siddhivinayak Temple in Mumbai, India, on April 6. As they posed in front of a sacred flower-filled altar, Chopra coordinated looks with Baby Malti, wearing ceremonial tilaks on their foreheads and blue saris decorated with lavender and yellow floral embellishments. "MM's first trip to India had to be completed with Shree Siddhivinayak's blessings 🙏🏽❤️," she captioned her post.
The sentimental, coordinating moment isn't the mother-daughter duo's first time making stylish statements. The 40-year-old mom and 1-year-old graced British Vogue's February 2023 cover in an array of elevated looks, most notably posing barefoot in wintry red dresses styled by Image Architect Law Roach. Just a month later, Malti Marie made her first public appearance in tweed suit with an adorable white floral headband as she watched her dad and uncles receive their Hollywood Walk of Fame star.
Chopra has quite the sartorial streak of her own, proudly donning pieces that hold cultural significance. Recently, the multi-hyphenate attended the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre Gala in a colorful sequinned, upcycled sari with cutouts and a high-slit which she described as an "amalgamation of the east and west." Chopra also wore a nude Elie Saab naked gown to the musical celebration of the same event.
