The new year is a great time to set new goals — especially when it comes to your fitness routine. However, even with good intentions, many of us have felt our motivation slipping after just a few weeks. My new approach to help me achieve my goals is to take it one day at a time and make sure that I'm showing up for myself. That way, I can show up better for others. I'm being less rigid with my workout schedule and substituting hour-long workouts for outdoor walks when I'm short on time. I've also treated myself to a mini-fitness-gear refresh.
Updating my fitness wardrobe helps me feel more confident and intentional about my commitment to a healthier lifestyle. Ahead, check out my most recent additions that will help me stay on track with my goals this year.
Intensify bodyweight workouts with the four-pound POPSUGAR Wrist Ankle Weight Set ($15).
Exclusively on Shopbop, Farm Rio's newly launched Abstract Patches Top ($90) and Abstract Leggings ($130) bring all the playful prints the brand is known for to my daily workouts.
The Air 1 Go Headphones ($50) are wireless, lightweight, and come in a rainbow of colors.
Lightweight and easy to pack, the POPSUGAR Jump Rope — Blue ($13) is a must have for my quick cardio bursts.
If you're prone to post breakouts post-sweat, like me, these individually wrapped bamboo Essential Face Wipes ($24) cleanse, exfoliate, soothe, and hydrate when you are on the go.
This Parisienne sneaker brand is stylish, functional, and comfortable. The Veja Condor 2 Sneakers ($160) feature 100 percent recycled mesh and soles.
Animal prints of PE Nation's Freeman Sports Bra ($85) and Freeman Short ($95) give a fresh spin to my workout wear and mix nicely with the brights and neutrals in my closet.
I elevated my gym bag with the Tangier Mini Tote ($295). It has a detachable cross-body strap and plenty of room for all of your essentials. I got the ink-blue color (pictured).

With hints of tonal colors and minimal design, the On Cloud Hi Edge Sneakers ($160) comfortably elevate any of my workout sets.
Elastics can damage my hair and cause breakage. Once I made the switch to Crown Affair The Scrunchie No. 001 ($15), I never went back.
Girlfriend Collective has the softest fabrics and soothing color palettes. Available in XXS-6XL, the Float Ultralight Legging ($78) and Cleo Halter Bra ($46) comfortably get me up and moving.
