If you were excited about the Doritos Locos Taco, you're going to want to try Taco Bell's newest insane creation: a Fritos taco. The company is reportedly testing the taco [1], which will only cost $1.49 and thus will make your hangover food and late-night snack runs that much better.
Like a less messy Frito pie [2], the taco will feature a Fritos shell (your choice of original corn chip or chili cheese flavored!) filled with beef, sour cream, lettuce, tomatoes, and cheese.
The only downside: apparently the taco is only available in Memphis, TN, right now, but be on the lookout for news about it reaching locations nationwide.
According to Grub Street [3], Taco Bell has sold $1 billion worth of Doritos Locos tacos! You'll just have to try this new creation to see how it compares. What sounds better to you — a Fritos or Doritos shell?
