If you were excited about the Doritos Locos Taco, you're going to want to try Taco Bell's newest insane creation: a Fritos taco. The company is reportedly testing the taco, which will only cost $1.49 and thus will make your hangover food and late-night snack runs that much better.
Like a less messy Frito pie, the taco will feature a Fritos shell (your choice of original corn chip or chili cheese flavored!) filled with beef, sour cream, lettuce, tomatoes, and cheese.
The only downside: apparently the taco is only available in Memphis, TN, right now, but be on the lookout for news about it reaching locations nationwide.
According to Grub Street, Taco Bell has sold $1 billion worth of Doritos Locos tacos! You'll just have to try this new creation to see how it compares. What sounds better to you — a Fritos or Doritos shell?
