Apple Cider Ice Cream
Original Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups apple cider
1 14 oz. can sweetened condensed milk
1 tbsp. apple pie spice
1 tsp vanilla
2 cups heavy whipping cream
Directions
- Start by pouring the apple cider into a saucepan and simmering it over low heat for 20-25 minutes, until the liquid is reduced to 1/2 cup.
- Add the reduced apple cider to a large mixing bowl with the sweetened condensed milk, apple pie spice, and vanilla. Whisk until thoroughly combined.
- In a separate bowl, use an electric mixer or a stand mixer with the whisk attachment to beat the heavy whipping cream until stiff peaks form. This should take about five minutes.
- Using a spatula, gently fold the whipping cream into the apple cider mixture.
- Pour into a loaf pan, and freeze for a minimum of four hours or up to overnight. Enjoy!
