Copycat Taco Bell Chalupa Recipe
Original Recipe
Ingredients
- 5 flatbreads
1 pound ground beef
1 packet taco seasoning
1 cup shredded mozzarella, cheddar, and Monterey Jack
1/2 head iceberg lettuce
2 tomatoes
1 tub (8 oz.) reduced-fat sour cream
Directions
- Cook the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat, adding taco seasoning.
- While the ground beef is cooking, dice the tomatoes and chop the lettuce, then set aside.
- In a separate pan, fry flatbreads on both sides for about 40 seconds or until golden. Don't forget to fold them in half before you fry them so you get the chalupa shape.
- Once cool enough to handle, fill each chalupa shell with your desired amount of beef, sour cream, lettuce, cheese, and tomatoes.
- Serve, and enjoy!
