This Vibrant Backyard Hindu Wedding Will Fill Your Heart With Joy

Sarah Babcock Studio

Trendy New York City couple Anusha and Andrew decided to travel back to their Ohio home and get married in their parents' backyard. Friends and family gathered for a colorful Hindu wedding — the first day included a dinner party and dancing, while the second day held the ceremony.

The couple pulled out all the stops for their weekend-long nuptials, from their thoughtful and creative invitations to the gorgeous tablescapes. Bright floral garlands were strung throughout the space, creating the perfect backdrop for the jaimala ceremony (the exchange of garlands). The wedding mandap was made from cut trees in their backyard and the pair's dog was also in attendance, bow tie and all. Anusha and Andrew's celebration was filled with so much love and warmth, you can almost feel it through the photos.

See them ahead!
