In the final days of the 2016 election, Donald Trump [1] reportedly needs permission from his campaign before he can tweet. A recent New York Times article alleges that Trump's aides have taken over his Twitter account [2] in an effort to prevent any additional controversies [3]. Know who found this particularly funny? President Obama.
At a Hillary Clinton rally in Florida on Nov. 6, Obama had a good laugh about the recent development. "Apparently, his campaign has taken away his Twitter," said Obama. "In the last two days, they had so little confidence in his self-control, they said, 'We're just going to take away your Twitter.'" The president added, "Now, if somebody can't handle a Twitter account, they can't handle the nuclear codes. If somebody starts tweeting at three in the morning because SNL made fun of you [4], then you can't handle the nuclear codes."
Watch the president's sick burn above and then check out when he made fun of Trump [5] for his strange Twitter proclivities at a separate rally in Miami.
