In the final days of the 2016 election, Donald Trump reportedly needs permission from his campaign before he can tweet. A recent New York Times article alleges that Trump's aides have taken over his Twitter account in an effort to prevent any additional controversies. Know who found this particularly funny? President Obama.
At a Hillary Clinton rally in Florida on Nov. 6, Obama had a good laugh about the recent development. "Apparently, his campaign has taken away his Twitter," said Obama. "In the last two days, they had so little confidence in his self-control, they said, 'We're just going to take away your Twitter.'" The president added, "Now, if somebody can't handle a Twitter account, they can't handle the nuclear codes. If somebody starts tweeting at three in the morning because SNL made fun of you, then you can't handle the nuclear codes."
