Pomegranate and Goat Cheese on Pumpernickel Toast

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup goat cheese
4 slices of pumpernickel bread, toasted
Black pepper to taste
1/2 cup fresh pomegranate seeds
Directions
- Spread 2 tablespoons of goat cheese on each slice of bread.
- Sprinkle with freshly cracked black pepper to taste.
- Top each slice of bread with 2 tablespoons of pomegranate seeds, pressing down lightly to embed them in the goat cheese.
- Serve immediately.
