Apple Pomegranate Protein Smoothie

Here are instructions on how to seed a pomegranate [1].

Fall Protein Smoothie

Ingredients

  1. 1/2 apple
    1/2 pomegranate, seeds only
    1 cup kale
    1 tablespoon flaxmeal
    1 serving vanilla protein powder (I used Orgain [2], 46 grams)
    1 teaspoon cinnamon
    1/4 teaspoon ginger (fresh or ground)
    1 cup unsweetened soy milk
    4 ice cubes

Directions

  1. Place ingredients in a blender and mix until smooth, about one minute.
  2. Pour in a cup and enjoy!
