14 Things Only Overly Competitive People Will Understand

Aug 21 2017 - 10:05am

Ever had to actually leave a party because someone destroyed you in a game of beer pong? Yeah, me neither . . . If that does sound like you, you most definitely know that you're way too competitive [1] in nature. But I'm probably more competitive than you are. (See? It's a real problem.) Though your "superdriven spirit" has its advantages, you probably also know of the many struggles it comes with. It's hard to have fun when all you can think about is winning — even when it's not a competition. See 14 things ahead that only overly competitive people will understand.

You don't take losing very well, or well at all.

You can't even stand second-hand defeat.

You're not the most graceful winner, either.

You like to let everyone know about your victories.

You make EVERYTHING into a competition.

And all your friends hate it.

It's worse when it comes to family.

No one ever wants to be your partner.

You obviously have a victory dance.

Threats are a given.

It's hard to stay humble about winning.

Your "good luck"s are never genuine.

The most important thing is winning, not trying your best or whatever.

You always end up ruining it for everyone else.

But hey, it's better than being a LOSER.
