Melissa Joan Hart Has a Lego Portrait of Herself in Her Truly Stunning Home

Melissa Joan Hart is a familiar face on the small screen, having starred on long-running hits Sabrina the Teenage Witch, Clarissa Explains It All, and Melissa & Joey. Besides being a performer and author, Melissa is also a mom to adorable three boys. She and her musician husband Mark Wilkerson recently planted roots in Los Angeles with the purchase of a large, modern home. Located in the Studio City neighborhood, the house amusingly sits right across the street form CBS Studios.

Since they also have a home in Connecticut, Melissa and Mark knew they needed some help in Los Angeles. So, they called their longtime friend Lonni Paul, a designer who's also outfitted a home for Giuliana and Bill Rancic.

"It was supposed to be a cool little California bungalow," Lonni said, explaining her approach to the Hart-Wilkerson project. "The place has a little history being across from the studio and having had different stars live in it. We made it more modern and fresh — and bright."

That translated into big, clean open spaces on the first floor, and pops of personality in the bedrooms upstairs. The boys' rooms and bathroom were treated to big splashes of color, while Mark and Melissa's spaces were outfitted with serene, mature hues and materials. Lonni made sure to incorporate the family's sense of fun throughout, including a large-scale Lego portrait of the lady of the house, Melissa, mounted in the living room!

The end result is, as Lonni puts it, "a fun place the kids can enjoy." The adults are pleased, too.
