Machete Kills Trailer: Sofia Vergara, Lady Gaga, and Amber Heard Join the Crew

I know you've been secretly awaiting a peek at Machete Kills, the sequel to 2010's violent campfest Machete, so here it is!

I know you've been secretly awaiting a peek at Machete Kills, the sequel to 2010's violent campfest Machete, so here it is! Danny Trejo returns as the terrifying ex-Federale along with Michelle Rodriguez and Jessica Alba, only this time, they have company. Amber Heard, Mel Gibson, Sofia Vergara, Lady Gaga, Antonio Banderas, Cuba Gooding Jr., and Charlie "Carlos Estevez" Sheen have all joined up. This time, Machete is battling a dangerous arms dealer who wants to launch a weapon into space. If you think it can't get much campier than that plot, wait until you see Vergara's wardrobe.

This actually seems more like a fever dream that Charlie Sheen is having than a real movie, but I'll go with it. The trailer doesn't go much into plot description, but it does offer a mélange of cast members. I genuinely can't tell if this looks like the most hilarious movie ever, or the worst. Thoughts? Check out the trailer for Machete Kills, out Sept. 13, after the jump.

She was there to support her film The Impossible, which took home the best supporting visual effects award. Other big winners from the night included Life of Pi, with four awards including outstanding visual effects in a visual-effects-driven feature motion picture, the VES equivalent of best picture. Naomi wasn't the only star that walked the red carpet — Antonio Banderas and Harrison Ford also brought star-power to the event.

Naomi is currently gearing up for the Oscars, where she is nominated for best actress. Naomi recently shared that she's "looking forward" to the silence that comes after the Academy Awards. She also opened up about her home life, admitting that raising two boys during award season can be difficult, but that doesn't keep her from doing chores. She said, "I do my own laundry, but I sometimes have help. I cook. I definitely don't have a chef."

Antonio Banderas is one of the many male leads in Steven Soderbergh's Haywire, which hits theaters this Friday on Jan. 20. Unlike in real life, for much of the movie Antonio sports a big beard. He revealed how he and Steven came to include the facial hair in the film, and also spoke about the variety of roles he's played over the last 12 months including his part in this picture, Puss in Boots, and The Skin I Live In. The latter film is getting some award season love for director Pedro Almodovar, and Antonio couldn't be more excited. Check out what Antonio told us!

Breaking Dawn Part 1 is out on Nov. 18, and talking up that picture has been consuming most of Rob's time in recent weeks. Robert and costar Kristen Stewart started their weekend Friday at a press junket, before moving on to a Twilight Q&A session Saturday, where the real-life couple were extra adorable with their stolen glances between queries.
