Confirmed: Cate Blanchett is the New Face of Giorgio Armani Fragrance

Cate Blanchett has served as the recent muse for Giorgio Armani, frequently wearing his creations on the red carpet, but now her role is expanding into the designer's beauty brand, too. The actress has been confirmed as the face of Armani fragrances, according to WWD. The contract will include a print magazine campaign for the brand's new eau de parfum called Sí, slated to hit shelves by the end of the Summer. Cate will serve as the first celebrity to represent the Giorgio Armani fragrances, which has relied on models in previous years. Who better than the woman who inspires Armani's fashion designs to also front his fragrance offerings?
Miranda Kerr Models For Qantas and Confirms Victoria's Secret Shift
Miranda Kerr returned to the runway to model the new line of uniforms for Australian airline Qantas in Sydney today. She showed off two fashion-forward ensembles fulfilling her duties as a global ambassador for the airline. It appeared that Miranda was proud to be a part of the event in her native Australia, as she shared photos on her Instagram account, saying, "Congratulations Qantas airways and team. I still call Australia home." Also there to get a peek at the airline's new look was fellow Aussie Cate Blanchett, along with Qantas CEO Alan Joyce.
Miranda's ambassadorship to Qantas is just one of her many appointments, along with being the face — and owner — of the Kora Organics line and heading up a new fashion campaign for the clothing line Mango. However, last week, Miranda made headlines for speculation surrounding her role as a Victoria's Secret Angel when news broke that her $1 million contract with the brand may not be renewed. In fact, she confirmed a change in her relationship with Victoria's Secret today, saying, "I've been modeling since I was 13. I'm now entering a new phase in my life. I have felt this coming since my son was born and, after I became a mother, I realized I needed to prioritize my time."

George Clooney and Matt Damon Share a Laugh on Set
George Clooney, Matt Damon, and Cate Blanchett filmed scenes for The Monuments Men in Berlin over the weekend. Matt and Cate suited up in their finest '40s garb on Friday to shoot a street scene that involved Matt carrying a painting. Today, George, who was still sporting the mustache he grew out for the film, directed several extras at Palais am Festungsgraben. He has been staying in the German capital ever since award season wrapped in February. Earlier this month, George's girlfriend, Stacy Keibler, joined him in Berlin after rumors surfaced that the two had called it quits. However, their date night with Matt ended that gossip.
For now, George is focused on working on his new film, which he is directing, writing, and starring in alongside Matt and Cate. However, it hasn't been all work and no play — George reportedly got into a snowball fight with Matt during filming on Friday and Matt and Cate took their kids to an amusement park over the weekend.
The Best Oscars Beauty Looks of All Time
Oscars 2013 is just around the corner, and that means we have a lot of seriously gorgeous beauty looks to look forward to. We'd be remiss if we didn't pay homage to those who came before 2013, because, really, they set the stage for this year's nominees. From Kate Winslet's Oscar-winning updo to Michelle Williams with her wavy chignon and red lips, we're recapping the best looks of all time. On Kirbie: Bebe Blazer, H&M dress.
Cate Blanchett Is a Femme Fatale in Red Sequins
Two of our favorite Aussies, Cate Blanchett and Nicole Kidman, stepped out in style for the AACTA Awards. While Cate channeled her inner glamazon and went ultrasexy in a floor-length red sequined gown by Armani Privé, Nicole took the ladylike route in a soft, yellow Erdem strapless. For all the details on these red-carpet styles, watch today's Fashion Flash. On Allison McNamara: Vena Cava dress, Stella & Bow jewelry. Hair and makeup by Kasia Bohos.
How to Style In-Between Bangs à la Cate Blanchett

Last night, Cate Blanchett's sideswept bangs defied gravity at the Australian Academy of Cinema and Television Arts Awards. The look was similar to Farrah Fawcett's famous flip, but a much more modern take. Her sleek side ponytail paired with face-framing bangs is a winning style for growing out your blunt bangs. To re-create Cate's sideswept look, sweep all your bangs to one side and then curl hair away from the face and to the side. You'll create more of a flip instead of a curl. Then use a comb to feather out. Finally, hit bangs with a shot of hair spray like Oribe Superfine ($19) to ensure bangs stay in place all night. With such a dramatic swoop over one eye, Cate kept her makeup neutral with matching rosy lips and cheeks.
Cate and Nicole Stun at the AACTA Awards — Who's Best Dressed?
Battle of the Aussies: Cate Blanchett and Nicole Kidman attended the AACTA Awards last night in Sydney, Australia, looking nothing short of stunning in their choice of statement dresses. Always one to push the style envelope, Cate donned a fiery red sequined Armani Privé gown paired with black statement earrings and patent pumps. Quite a bold ensemble, especially compared to fellow Aussie Nicole Kidman, who opted to take the ladylike route in a strapless embroidered Erdem Spring '13 dress. The light yellow hue contrasted beautifully against her skin tone and we love that she accessorized her ensemble with a pair of decadent gold and blue earrings along with chic ankle-strap sandals. Which look are you leaning towards — Cate's bold fashion statement or Nicole's ladylike look?

Nicole Kidman and Cate Blanchett Show Their Aussie Pride at the AACTAs
Nicole Kidman and Cate Blanchett showed support for their fellow Australian actors when they attended the Australian Academy of Cinema and Television Arts Awards in Sydney yesterday. Nicole walked the red carpet in a yellow Erdem dress with nude Brian Atwood sandals while Cate turned up the glamour factor in a red Armani gown. The ladies joined host Russell Crowe and AACTA president Geoffrey Rush at the event, marking the first time that all four actors — who have each won an Oscar, BAFTA, a Golden Globe, and an AFI Award — were in the same room at the same time. At the event, the Australian film The Sapphires won the biggest awards of the night, including best film, best direction, and best actor for Chris O'Dowd.
Although the official AACTA Awards took place in Australia, there was a special AACTA Awards lunch held in LA over the past weekend. At the lunch, we caught up with honoree and Aussie actress Jacki Weaver who talked about playing Bradley Cooper's mom in Silver Linings Playbook. Jacki also revealed at the AACTA lunch that her costar Jennifer Lawrence is battling pneumonia, although Jennifer pulled it together to attend the SAG Awards on Sunday.
