There's not much time left before the royal baby arrives, and Kate and Will have been getting their practice in with lots of sweet kiddie time. A big part of the duke's and duchess's duties include working with children and carrying on the legacy that Princess Diana left with her extensive charity work. Over the years, they've visited hospitals, schools, and orphanages and shown just how great they are at interacting with their smallest fans.

It was a weekend full of fun for Jessica Simpson and her fiancé, Eric Johnson, as they attended their pals Kathryn Sykora and Chris Hetherington's wedding at the Rancho Bernardo Inn in San Diego. The festivities kicked off on Thursday with welcome drinks, which were attended by Odette Annable and her husband, Dave Annable. On Friday, the fun continued with a BBQ and lawn games, where Jessica hung out with the bride and friends like CaCee Cobb. The guys, including Dave Annable and Eric Johnson, got together for a golf outing before the big event on Saturday, when Jessica and the rest of the guests tried to beat the heat by holding parasols during the ceremony. Jessica wore a similar black dress when she was a guest at a Pacific Palisades wedding in April.

The bride, Kathryn, is an interior designer based in LA, and had her bachelorette party in Las Vegas in May. She celebrated her September engagement with a bash in March alongside Jessica, CaCee Cobb, and Odette Annable. The groom, Chris, is a former 49ers teammate of Eric's, as well as a fellow Yale alum. Kathryn and Chris also attended CaCee and Donald Faison's wedding back in December.

Halle was the guest of honor for the charitable evening, which brings films to hospitalized children in France, and Olivier held a special post at the event as well since he is serving as the festival's honorary president this year.

Halle and Olivier stepped out for the red carpet affair after he shared exciting news during his press duties at the festival earlier this week. Olivier confirmed that Halle is pregnant with a boy, and the couple appeared to be delighted about adding a son to their family, which includes Halle's daughter, Nahla Aubry. Although they are currently spending time in Olivier's native France, he made it clear that his son would be American. He said, "My son will be an American, but I remain French."
