The rare moment of downtime for Gwyneth came after a busy few months of promoting her new Goop app, as well as wrapping up her world press tour for Iron Man 3. Along with working on her own business ventures, she took time out for a good cause earlier this week. Gwyneth signed the inside of an Audi RS 6 car that will be auctioned off at Elton John's upcoming White Tie and Tiara charity ball, which benefits AIDS research.

Gwyneth also got to catch up with her friend Taylor Swift, who stopped by her London home last weekend. In typical Gwyneth fashion, her quiet time is coming to an end since she is headed to the States to pick up an honor in Chicago tomorrow. Gwyneth will be presented with the Renaissance Award by the Gene Siskel Film Center of the School of the Art Institute of Chicago in the Windy City on Saturday.

Gwyneth wore a printed silk dress by Prabal Gurung for the fashionable fete and posed for pictures with Kate, who was clad in a white A.L.C. jumpsuit and Smythe blazer. The two friends have each been staying busy, both personally and professionally — Gwyneth's weekly Goop newsletter is in its fourth year and has expanded to include designer collaborations and the recent launch of city guide apps. She also hit the red carpet for the Met Gala, celebrated big success with the blockbuster release of Iron Man 3, and gave us some laughs with her most over-the-top recent quotes. Kate, meanwhile, is diving into new projects after it was announced that she'll be joining the cast of Zach Braff's upcoming film, the Kickstarter-financed Wish I Was Here.

The couple were seen separately leaving the Mayfair restaurant La Petite Maison, with Chris hopping behind the wheel of his Mini to take them home afterward. Gwyneth's back in the UK during a break from promoting her new movie, Iron Man 3, which is out this Friday, May 3. Traveling to show off the blockbuster took her to Munich, Paris, LA, and NYC in the past month. While in LA, Gwyneth recorded numerous TV interviews, including one that aired last night on Chelsea Lately. Chelsea recounted a story of Gwyneth doling out relationship advice to a mutual friend. The recommendation wasn't exactly PG, which led Gwyneth to exclaim to Chelsea, "What if my mother sees this show?!"

Gwyneth Paltrow donned a feminine white jumpsuit to make a stop at LA's Chateau Marmont hotel yesterday. She then made an outfit change into a short Isabel Marant dress to attend a signing for her new cookbook, It's All Good: Delicious, Easy Recipes That Will Make You Look Good and Feel Great, at Barnes & Noble at The Grove later in the day. Although Gwyneth's new cookbook has its critics, she did have the support of her husband, Chris Martin, and children, Apple and Moses, at the signing.

Along with promoting her new batch of healthy recipes, Gwyneth is gearing up for her big Iron Man 3 press tour. She, along with her costar Robert Downey Jr., will make stops in Munich, Paris, London, and LA to debut the third film from Marvel's franchise ahead of its release in the US on May 3. Faith Hill, Tim McGraw, and Chris Martin took their kids to a playground in London on Sunday. Chris's kids, Apple and Moses, explored the park with Gracie, Audrey, and Maggie before the large group moved on to another part of town. Faith and Tim are in Chris's stomping grounds for the Country to Country event at London's O2 arena, which took place this weekend. Last week, the country singer and her girls went shopping in London while Tim prepared for the festival.

This marks Chris's first public appearance since Gwyneth Paltrow opened up about suffering a miscarriage with her third child. While she didn't go into details about when the tragedy happened, she did reveal that it was extremely painful. She said, "It didn't work out and I nearly died." The actress went on to say that her children both want a younger sibling and that while she "could squeeze one more in," the horror of the miscarriage makes her wary of trying again. Gwyneth also noted that she thinks of Chris as being a great dad. She added, "Regardless of what happens in our marriage, I chose the best father."

Gwyneth Paltrow and Cameron Diaz boarded a helicopter in NYC together yesterday. The girls reunited in the Big Apple after Gwyneth spent quality time with her kids across the pond. Gwyneth and her daughter, Apple, were arm in arm for a shopping trip in London together on Saturday. Chris Martin also spent the weekend in London, and was seen stepping out for his own Saturday outing.

Gwyneth Paltrow arrived back in the States just after her other pals Beyoncé Knowles and Jay-Z had a big weekend in New Orleans. Beyoncé gave a "lights out" performance for her Super Bowl halftime show on Sunday, and Jay-Z took the stage on Saturday night to accompany Justin Timberlake for a live performance of their new track, "Suit & Tie," during a pre-Super Bowl party.

Jay-Z and Coldplay rang in 2013 together with a joint New Year's Eve concert at Brooklyn's Barclays Center on Monday night. Coldplay played the first set while Jay-Z took the stage shortly before midnight. Jay-Z and Chris Martin joined up for the countdown and to sing "Auld Lang Syne." Once Chris was finished belting out the New Year's staple, he flowed into Jay-Z's "Run This Town," filling in for Rihanna's chorus. While Jay-Z and Chris were rocking, Chris's wife, Gwyneth Paltrow, and their children, Apple and Moses, danced on stage. They weren't the only celebrities in the audience since Jake Gyllenhaal was spotted chatting with Jay-Z backstage and Christina Aguilera and her boyfriend, Matt Rutler, were also on hand. Once the concert was over, Chris and Jay-Z headed to the 40/40 Club for an afterparty without Gwyneth, who headed home with Apple and Moses.
