Daniel Craig Cheers On Rachel at the NY Film Critics Circle Awards

Jessica Chastain, Matthew McConaughey, Rachel Weisz, and many more stars celebrated their fellow actors and filmmakers at the New York Film Critics Circle Awards in New York City last night.

Jessica Chastain, Matthew McConaughey, Rachel Weisz, and many more stars celebrated their fellow actors and filmmakers at the New York Film Critics Circle Awards in New York City last night. Matthew, who wore a suit by Dolce&Gabbana, won best supporting actor for his performances in Magic Mike and Bernie while Rachel beat out Jessica — who did triple-duty that night by appearing on the Late Show and attending a screening for Mama in addition to this event — for best actress for her role in The Deep Blue Sea. Rachel's husband Daniel Craig cheered Rachel on from the audience when she won her award.

Jessica's film Zero Dark Thirty was the big winner of the night, earning best director for Kathryn Bigelow and best cinematography for Greg Fraser. Highly-buzzed-about films Les Misérables and Argo missed out altogether. However, those films and their stars will have plenty of chances to scoop up more honors once award season starts up in earnest this week with the People's Choice Awards on Wednesday and the Critic's Choice Awards on Thursday. And don't forget about the Golden Globes, which are this Sunday, and your chance to predict the winners with our special Golden Globes ballot. If you predict the highest number of Golden Globes winners, you could win $1,500 and an iPad Mini!

2 Days in New York Trailer: Julie Delpy Has a New Boyfriend and New Relationship Problems

I loved writer/director/star Julie Delpy's last film, 2 Days in Paris, so much that I've been eagerly awaiting the sequel — even though it doesn't feature her original costar, Adam Goldberg.

I loved writer/director/star Julie Delpy's last film, 2 Days in Paris, so much that I've been eagerly awaiting the sequel — even though it doesn't feature her original costar, Adam Goldberg. This time, her character, Marion, has a new boyfriend, Mingus, played by Chris Rock. It's a few years after the events of 2 Days in Paris, and Marion and Mingus live together in New York with their respective children from previous relationships. This time, Marion's family is spending two days visiting from Paris, and their trip brings lots of hijinks and disruption in the form of smuggled food, keying cars, and unwelcome exes.

Rock has me cracking up in the preview, and I really like Delpy's insight into relationships. I'm eager to see how Marion and Mingus tackle this romantic hurdle — and I hope that this relationship fares better than her last one. 2 Days in New York comes out Aug. 10, but you can watch the trailer after the jump.

Salma Hayek, Jessica Chastain, Naomi Watts, and Jada Pinkett Smith each made their own style statement on the red carpet at today's Cannes Film Festival premiere of Madagascar 3: Europe's Most Wanted.

Salma Hayek, Jessica Chastain, Naomi Watts, and Jada Pinkett Smith each made their own style statement on the red carpet at today's Cannes Film Festival premiere of Madagascar 3: Europe's Most Wanted. The ladies joined several of the animated movie's male stars for the debut following a photocall for the film yesterday. Salma arrived at the premiere in Gucci. Meanwhile, Ben Stiller, David Schwimmer, Chris Rock, and Martin Short — who all lent their voices to the project — were decked out in tuxes. Sacha Baron Cohen, who has been busy promoting his film The Dictator, wasn't able to join the group for the festivities, despite voicing the lemur King Julien XIII in the franchise. We're live on the scene at the annual celebration of cinema this week, so if you've missed any of the action, catch up with our gallery of all the Cannes Film Festival pictures so far!

Grown Ups: Still Has Some Maturing to Do

Adam Sandler has made a career out of playing juvenile men.

Adam Sandler has made a career out of playing juvenile men. In Grown Ups, he may be older and wiser, but he's still the same old guy who laughs at fart jokes.

Sandler recruits his closest friends for this slapstick version of The Big Chill. Kevin James is the overweight one, David Spade is the lothario, Rob Schneider is the hippie-dippy guy, and Chris Rock is the somewhat effeminate member of the bunch. Indeed, Rock's casting is the only somewhat surprising thing about this movie that's chock-full of pratfalls, hot girls in short-shorts, and never-ending barbs. The boys love to make fun of each other, but unfortunately, their swipes are the meat of this movie. To hear more of what I mean, read more

Salma Leads a Cast of Grown Ups at Her Big NYC Premiere

Adam Sandler got his Grown Ups costars together in NYC last night for their premiere.

Adam Sandler got his Grown Ups costars together in NYC last night for their premiere. David Spade, Kevin James, and Chris Rock stuck by Adam on the red carpet, and Chris later remarked, "We're like the ladies from Sex and the City!" The event also brought out a slew of reality stars, from Real Housewives to J Woww and Snooki from the Jersey Shore. J Woww is excited for the upcoming release of Eclipse — she told us that she's actually Team Edward, because she's "always liked vampires." The girls also teamed up with their male counterparts to film a Twilight spoof for Jimmy Kimmel. Salma Hayek, though, stole the show in her little white dress after breaking out black and purple for press appearances earlier in the week. David shared a sweet story about his meeting Salma's daughter Valentina — check out our exclusive video from the scene!

Katy and Russell Celebrate After the MTV Movie Awards With Paris, Lindsay, and More!

Katy Perry played hostess last night at an MTV Movie Awards afterparty held in LA's Las Palmas club.

Katy Perry played hostess last night at an MTV Movie Awards afterparty held in LA's Las Palmas club. Her fiance Russell Brand stuck close by her side for kisses and more PDA throughout the evening after recently opening up to us about their wedding plans. The bash was held in honor of Katy's new music, but Russell also had celebrating to do with his Get Him to the Greek nabbing second place at the weekend box office. Paris Hilton was excited to hang out with her sister Nicky, Snooki, and J Woww while the guys of Jersey Shore made the rounds nearby. Audrina Patridge left her girls from the Hills to get cozy with Glee's Mark Salling, and Lenny Kravitz smiled with daughter Zoe. Lindsay Lohan changed out of her sparkly jumpsuit into a dress, still covering her SCRAM with a pair of boots. Her whirlwind few days also included a bikini photo shoot for German Vogue, and she apparently kept her spirits high with too many Monster energy drinks.
