Yesterday, Fox held its upfront presentation in NYC, showing off its newest shows and celebrating the series that have already been successes for the network. Mindy Kaling, Zooey Deschanel, Lea Michele, Demi Lovato, and Minka Kelly — who is starring in J.J. Abrams's upcoming show for the channel — were among the attendees at the presentation's afterparty. Lea sported a sexy, one-shoulder dress as she walked the blue carpet solo. Cory Monteith, her costar and boyfriend, didn't attend the event. However, the pair did celebrate his 31st birthday together over the weekend in LA.

While stars of current shows like Glee, New Girl, and The Mindy Project were celebrated at the event, the network also unveiled several series to come in 2013 and 2014, which network brass consistently referred to as reaching a "new generation" of viewers. Among the most buzz-worthy announcements were Andy Samberg's upcoming cop comedy and the confirmation that 24 will be returning to the airwaves.

Britney Spears was back in fine form when she hosted the Wango Tango music festival in Carson, CA, yesterday. She was joined by her former kindred X Factor judge Demi Lovato as well as performers Avril Lavigne, Bruno Mars, and Maroon 5's Adam Levine. Britney wore a formfitting black dress as she took the stage to introduce the acts, marking her first onstage appearance since she left The X Factor back in January. While she didn't perform this time around, Britney fans will get a chance to see the singer perform live soon as she confirmed last week that she will be taking up a residency in Las Vegas. The concert series, which will reportedly be held at Planet Hollywood, will begin in the Fall. Preparing for Sin City isn't the only thing on Britney's mind — she recently tweeted that she is reading The Goddess Inheritance, a YA novel by Aimee Carter.

Gwyneth Paltrow geared up to catch a flight out of LAX yesterday. She layered up in an army-inspired Current/Elliott coat and carried a Gucci bag for a flight to NYC. Gwyneth ran into a similarly dressed Demi Lovato on the plane and posted a photo of herself with the singer on Twitter. She wrote, "Apple, look who was on the plane!" Gwyneth has been on the go lately, promoting her latest cookbook, It's All Good: Delicious, Easy Recipes That Will Make You Look Good and Feel Great, on the West Coast. She was on hand to sign copies of the book at a Williams-Sonoma store on Friday and made an appearance at Barnes & Noble the previous day.

Before jetting off to continue her book tour in NYC and begin press for Iron Man 3, Gwyneth spent time with family and friends. She hosted a birthday party for her son, Moses, who is turning 7. The outdoor bash included celebrity friends like Kate Hudson, Gwen Stefani, and Tobey Maguire, who brought their little ones along for the fun.

Kate Bosworth and Demi Lovato helped launch the new Topshop/Topman store at The Grove in LA yesterday. Kate wore head-to-toe Topshop as she assisted in cutting the ribbon for the store's opening, while Demi wore a studded leather jacket — to match her studded foot cast — as she took the stage to perform for fans. This is the second Topshop event that the two celebrities have attended this week. On Wednesday, Demi and Kate partied for Topshop with Julianne Hough, Ryan Seacrest, and Kim Kardashian.

The Topshop events come as Demi's future with The X Factor is in question. Demi recently admitted that she hasn't been asked back officially, but she would sign on for another season. She also said that she would love to see Lady Gaga replace Britney Spears, who announced that she was leaving the show back in January.

Julianne Hough was joined by Ryan Seacrest to helped launch the new Topshop/Topman store in LA last night. She pulled double-duty yesterday, since she also dropped by the Tommy Hilfiger store opening in West Hollywood sans Ryan. Other celebrity attendees included Demi Lovato, who arrived at the event in a studded cast and crutches after she broke her foot earlier this month, and Kate Bosworth with fiancé Michael Polish.

Kim Kardashian also celebrated the new Topshop outpost with her mom, Kris Jenner, by her side. Kim recently caused a bit of a scandal when she and boyfriend Kanye West were involved in a security breach at JFK. According to reports, a TSA employee let Kim and Kanye skip airport security, so they could more easily transfer to their next flight. However, a TSA spokesman said that it was the employee, not Kim and Kanye, who was to blame for the breach.
