Kate Moss turned up the glamour to attend an amfAR gala in São Paulo, Brazil, on Friday. She wore a black dress with a dramatic plunging neckline while she mingled with fellow attendees, including pregnant Fergie in a smart suit and Sharon Stone, who walked the red carpet with model boyfriend Martin Mica. Kate has been enjoying the sights in São Paulo and dropped by the city's ninth annual International Art Fair on Thursday. Kate, an avid art fan and friend of the late artist Lucian Freud, checked out the pieces on display ahead of the charity gala.
The First Digitally Made 3D Dress Has Arrived
A 3D printer has been on our wish list for a while, along with a 3D-printed lamp and 3D-printed photo booth — OK, 3D-printed anything, really! But a 3D-printed gown? That wasn't even on our geek-girl Spring 2013 fashion radar. In New York City this week at the Ace Hotel, burlesque superstar Dita Von Teese arrived wearing the world's first 3D-printed dress. Designed by Michael Schmidt and Francis Bitonti, then printed with a Shapeways 3D printer on powdered nylon, the analog had no place in the creation of this dress.
The creation was designed on an iPad to Dita's exact measurements, critiqued via Skype, and then digitally rendered before sending to Shapeways. The usual pencil-to-paper sketching and fabric draping sounds practically primitive when compared to the powerful software, Rhino and Maya, used by the designers. Is this the first look at a sartorial future of completely customizable attire, no tailor required? Would you buy into a new 3D fashion trend?
Dita Von Teese on Her Heroes, Fragrance-Making, and Creating Her Image

Dita Von Teese is a woman who clearly knows what she likes. She's perfected her signature vintage look for over 20 years, so when it came to developing her own fragrances, dubbed Dita Von Teese ($25-$75) and Rouge ($20-$50), Dita knew exactly what she wanted. "I believe perfume is a vital stepping stone to glamour, so I wanted to create a perfume that has a high level of sophistication and is a kind of perfume that maybe one of my idols like Rita Hayworth or Marlene Dietrich would have worn," she says. Her collection of fragrances and Von Follies lingerie hits HSN April 23, and the 40-year-old burlesque star tells us everything from her skin care secrets to looking good in lingerie.

Celebrities Love Polka-Dot Tights — It's the Perfect (Holiday) Touch!
We can't think of a better time than now to don polka-dot tights. With the holidays right around the corner, it's the perfect festive touch to any ensemble. We particularly love the way Kourtney Kardashian, Dita Von Teese, and Tara Subkoff showed off their dotted tights. Kourtney coordinated hers with a matching dotted blouse, Dita opted for small polka dots with a vintage Thierry Mugler dotted top and ruffled skirt at the launch of her perfume Apothia, and Tara sported hers with a fedora and boyfriend blazer. Draw inspiration from these ladies and get polka-dot tights if you don't yet have a pair. Then use them to spice up any of your holiday ensembles, especially your little red and black dresses.

Trend Alert: One-Sided Victory Rolls
Hair trends come and go, often to return to the mainstream years down the road. And although claw bangs of the '80s aren't likely to rear their shellacked and pouffy heads again, a certain era in vintage hairdressing happens to be making a triumphant return. In recent weeks, stars such as Rihanna, Diane Kruger, and Dita Von Teese have all donned 1940s-esque victory rolls. Each celebrity, in addition, has styled hers in a side-swept fashion. While the look skews a tad more daring than your average side-swept half-do, this classy coif is sure to make any New Year's Eve ensemble all the more special. And that's just how you'll roll.
