The tragic shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, CT, last week has prompted many to come forward in support of change, and now celebrities are getting in on the cause, too. Gwyneth Paltrow, Jennifer Aniston, Reese Witherspoon, Jon Hamm, Kate Hudson, Elizabeth Banks, and many others joined together to create a PSA demanding a plan to prevent further violence. Reese Gets Honored With Support From Megan, Hilary, and More
Reese Witherspoon, in a Miu Miu dress, was in the spotlight today at the March of Dimes Celebration of Babies luncheon. She was being honored with the Grace Kelly Award for her commitment to healthy pregnancies and families — make sure to vote on your favorite family of 2012. Reese had plenty of support at the event, which was hosted by Nick Cannon, including new mom Elizabeth Banks and Hilary Duff and Mike Comrie. Megan Fox, who gave birth to son Noah in September, and her husband, Brian Austin Green, were inducted into the Stork Club for new celebrity parents and mingled with Molly Sims inside. It was the first time Reese and Brian were at the same event since Brian jokingly thanked Reese for taking attention away from Noah's birth with the announcement of her own son, Tennessee. Amanda Peet broke from her small-screen role on The Good Wife to attend, and Alyson Hannigan was on hand as well.
Reese got behind another good cause yesterday, when she posed at the Children's Defense Fund of California's annual Beat the Odds Awards. Both recent appearances came after a quick trip to NYC earlier this week.
The Hollywood Crowd Keeps It Chic For the Power 100 — Who's Most Fab?
You know it's going to be a good day when you kick it off with a glamorous Hollywood breakfast. This chic crew of style setters gathered in Beverly Hills for The Hollywood Reporter’s Power 100: Women in Entertainment event this morning to celebrate the publication's annual list of the industry's most influential women. On the guest list? Favorites like Cat Deeley, Kerry Washington, Ashley Madekwe, and Elizabeth Banks, who all turned out their own respective takes on "ladies-who-lunch" ware. Cat opted for a classic white button-down and lean trousers; Kerry slipped into a statement making Carven fit-and-flare dress with (holiday-appropriate) red accents. Meanwhile, Ashley opted for a flirtier white minidress by BCBG and open-toed booties and Elizabeth proved that a well fitting LBD is always a do. Now it's time to cast your vote — which of the star's chic styles is your favorite?

Elizabeth Banks and Pitch Perfect's Director on the "Cutthroat" A Cappella World
Elizabeth Banks not only appears in this month's Pitch Perfect, but she also played a behind-the-scenes role as one of the film's producers. We recently sat down with Elizabeth and the musical comedy's director, Jason Moore, to talk about the surprising level of drama in the competitive a cappella world, Rebel Wilson's memorable audition, and making Elizabeth a last-minute addition to the cast. Pitch Perfect hits theaters everywhere on Oct. 5.
Movie 43 Trailer: A Filthy Anthology Starring . . . Everyone
I'd love to tell you the full star-studded cast of Movie 43 but I'm afraid we'd be here all day. The trailer for off-the-wall comedy includes Hugh Jackman, Kate Winslet, Anna Faris, Emma Stone, Jason Sudeikis, Chris Pratt, Chloe Moretz, Justin Long, and Christopher Mintz-Plasse. The film is a collection of 25 different stories, and as far as I can tell, the only common theme is stars behaving badly. Halle Berry blows out the candles on a blind kid's birthday cake, Naomi Watts and Liev Schreiber bully their teenager, and Gerard Butler is a leprechaun.

A handful of bloated comedies have proven that the megaensemble is a tricky beast, but this has me wondering if the formula might actually work this time. It could be amazing, or it could be an epic fail. The movie opens Jan. 25, and you can watch the NSFW red-band trailer after the jump.
Michelle Obama Answers Elizabeth Banks on Her Favorite Dance Move — "The Dougie!"

We are thrilled to share the next answer in our series with First Lady Michelle Obama. Since we're in back-to-school mode, this week we're focusing on education and women's health. For our final question of the week, we had some fun. Here's the first lady on her favorite dance move to stay healthy:
Actress Elizabeth Banks asked on Twitter using the #POPSUGAR2012 hashtag, "As a proponent of Let's Move, tell us your favorite dance move. @MichelleObama #PopSugar2012"
"Tough question from Elizabeth! Over the last four years, I've done a lot more dancing in front of TV cameras than I could have anticipated! I have a lot of good memories, from the University of Northern Iowa Interlude Dance to 'Move Your Body' with Beyoncé — but The Dougie is truly my all-time favorite move."
We are still taking questions! There are three ways to participate:
1. You can leave your question in the comments section here on PopSugar.com
2. You can tweet using the hashtag #POPSUGAR2012
3. You can leave your question in the tab on our PopSugar Facebook page
We're so excited to hear what's on your mind and to speak to First Lady Michelle Obama together.
Elizabeth Banks and Her Husband Take Us Behind the Scenes of Pitch Perfect

Musical comedy Pitch Perfect, out today, hopes to graduate a cappella music to the mainstream. The movie stars Anna Kendrick as college freshman Beca Mitchell, who gets recruited to her school's all-girl a cappella ensemble. Once in the group, Beca mixes up their outdated song list with the hopes of beating their boy-group rivals. The cast includes Oscar-nominated Anna Kendrick, Rebel Wilson, who played Kristen Wiig's hilariously awkward roommate in Bridesmaids, and Adam DeVine from Workaholics.
The film's producer Elizabeth Banks makes a cameo, too. But she was in full producer mode when I sat down with her and husband Max Handelman on Pitch Perfect's Baton Rouge set last November. Elizabeth and Max met on the first day of college at the University of Pennsylvania, and the couple produced Pitch Perfect together. While on set, I got to see performances by the rival groups, and let me tell you: your favorite pop hits from the likes of Flo Rida or Lily Allen sound great a cappella. If the trailer, seen below, made you excited about Pitch Perfect, find out more about the project from our interview with Elizabeth and Max.
Just keep reading to see the trailer for the movie and read my interview.

Pair this coquettish style with a smoldering smoky eye for a bit of sweet-meets-sexy, and get the complete hair how-to when you read more.
Video: Elizabeth Banks on Her New Hunger Games and "Dry Humping" Channing Tatum
Elizabeth Banks premiered Pitch Perfect in LA and appeared on Conan Monday night, where she joked that the musical film is "exactly" like her other hit The Hunger Games — see her full chat with Conan here. Hear her funny plug for the film, and find out what she said it was like grinding with Channing Tatum at the MTV Movie Awards earlier this year, in PopSugar Rush.
